Thank you for coming to Johnson’s Pumpkin Farm for your field trip! We are excited for you to join us.

● Please give the attached map to the bus driver before arriving so they know where to drop the kids off and park.
● Your tour guides will be at the drop off area to welcome your class. NOW is the time to get a final head count of students and adults for payment.
● Parents and others arriving by car should park in the visitor lot and meet the class at the unloading area.
● If paying by credit card, cash or check the day of:
○ Immediately after unloading the bus and meeting the tour guide you should tell
the tour guide you are going inside to pay and they will wait with the kids.
○ Go to the craft store register and they will take your payment with your envelope.
● If paying by check at a later date:
○ Put a note in the payment envelope with the school address, billing name, and a
contact info with phone number.
○ Give this envelope to one of the tour guides.
● The school buses will be parked in the north lot. At the end of your tour, please board the bus in the parking lot.
● If you have further questions or concerns before, during or after your trip, please call the farm office at 989 752 3133

Some other things to consider:

● There are NO inside tables to eat at. We only have picnic tables outside.
● Consider a rally point for children to gather at if they get lost, such as the windmill or
flagpole, or bell.
● If there is an emergency, call 911, then alert the tour guide to radio for medical help.
● The concession stand will be open during your visit, we take cash and credit card.
● Sometimes the animals are tired or distracted, unfortunately they aren’t always
interested in attention.
● Some of the animals will nibble on little fingers, so make sure to be careful.
