Where is Johnson's?

Located on the banks of the Cheboyganing Creek in beautiful Indiantown Michigan.  Although it might be easier to find by putting our address into your navigation app:

Saginaw MI 48601

What does it cost to visit?

As always admission and parking are both FREE

When are you open?

The farm is open seven days a week from September 11 until October 31

Monday 11 am – 7 pm

Tuesday 9 am – 7 pm

Wednesday 9 am – 7 pm

Thursday 9 am – 7 pm

Friday 9 am – 7 pm

Is the farm wheelchair accessible?

It depends on the wheelchair. Most surfaces at the farm are flat, and are either gravel, grass, or mulch. The maze is hard-packed dirt, which can get slippery when wet.

We have 20 handicap accessible parking spaces.

We also have one handicap accessible bathroom.

Is there a parking shuttle?

Sorry, no shuttle for parking.  Expect to walk 5 minutes at the most to get from any one of the lots up to the main barn.

Can I bring my dog?

Sorry, no animals (except for service animals) may accompany you on your visit. It’s a liability thing; trust us, we do actually love dogs just as much as we love people (okay, maybe a little more…)

What forms of payment are accepted?

We accept cash, and most all credit cards.  If paying by credit card we charge a 3% transaction fee.  We also have an ATM at the farm for your convenience.

Is smoking allowed?

We prefer you didn’t smoke at our farm since hay and straw don’t play well with fire.  Thanks for understanding.

Can we bring our own food and drink?

We have a full variety of food, drinks and snacks for sale.  We kindly ask you save your picnic lunch for a day at the park.

Can I buy donuts for my special event?

We would love to hook you up with our sweet treats.  We offer bulk sales of donuts for your event.  Please call the office 989 752 3133 and speak to Dar, or send her an email

I want to work here. How do I do that?

I had a bad experience at the farm. Who do I talk to about it?

Things don’t always go as planned, sometimes it isn’t all rainbows and lollipops.  We want everyone to have a wonderful experience but it doesn’t always happen and we want to hear about it.  The only way we can get better is to listen to the good AND the bad.  Please share your story of what we can do better and we will do our best to live up to the challenge.  Give us a chance and I’m sure we will win you back.
